Any advice is appreciated.

Why was the engine dissembled? If you need an engine that little 2 cyl ZL600 might be a tough one to locate.

As 85Hokie mentioned it is two wheel drive. It also has the PTO turning in the anti-clockwise direction, making it's use limited without an $800 reverser if you can find one.

Tooljunkie, You could repower it if need be, but it would be a lot of work.

The final answer would be in how bad you need a project, and is it something you can use when you're done, or what's it value to someone else.

I've talked to a guy who had one that was running fine for sale for $1000.

Tooljunkie, my post #3 is all wet! The 6100E is a much more desirable machine then the one I commented about.

I would ask the same questions, though, before I jumped in!

Odd. That ad claims their D650 engine produces 18 hp @1800 rpm. Somewhat higher than even the D750 engine. Did Kubota make a "high output" version or is this a misprint?
Good question - NIW would know, I just searched for that model engine and it popped up, not sure where their info was obtained.

I just talked to the guy who owns that company. He said he list so much he's not sure, but "It might be a misprint"!
