Pretty cool! At first I thought you were talking about my great aunt. But she lived in Arizona. She (and her husband) bought a '57 Chevy 2 door hard top in the pink colors. I think they called it a two tone pink with a cream/white top. Her husband died but she kept driving that car until she was into her 90's. She would laugh and tell us that she'd get all kinds of strange looks from the young crowd when this old lady would pull up and get out of her pristine collector car for gas, groceries or where ever. Her son now has it somewhere in Colorado.
She was quite the lady. Would go on camping/canoe trips with us when she was well into her 80s. Volunteered at a retirement home until she was 90+ yrs old. Just didn't quite make it to be 100.

in Feb 2021 I bought a 2019 Mustang. Needed it for a daily since the other car just sits in paint jail (which was my daily driver). That car is getting close to being done, so I started thinking. Dealers are advertising that they are having a hard time getting vehicles so I got to thinking I wonder if my 2019 is worth anything?

One dealer offered me $28,100 for the little 2019 Mustang. I paid $20,000. That's an $8,000 profit, before expenses (fuel, insurance, etc) and being that I havent' had it that long, that's still pretty substantial.

I can kind of relate, though. I still own my high school car. 1975 Ford Maverick.

That Maverick would likely demand a pretty penny also if you chose to sell.

Man what a piece of crap that thing was.

Would love to have one today though.
