I have an m9540 Kubota cab tractor. I bailed hay for 4 hours Tuesday 6/7/23. Went to crank this morning (6/8/23) and it ran a little ruff for 30 seconds to a minute and quit. Before starting in the hay I changed all filters and cleaned the water separator. It looked clean but I wanted to make sure. I’m could not tell for sure where the supply line runs from the tank. The fuel filter was empty when I removed it. Any idea on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks rl

Based on what you are describing - I would say you have a restriction in the hose from the tank to that filter, or worse - the tank is blocked at the tank's exit.

Remove the filter - and then remove or loosen the fuel tank cap and then "blow" using compressed air (I would NOT shoot 100 psi up there) and see if fuel comes rushing out! Now if this "fixes" the problem - it will likely do this again UNTIL that restriction is removed by removing the tank.

But if you have zero fuel coming to the filter - then you are on the right track finding the solution.

I’ll bet it “cranks” just fine.

Sorry to hear it won’t run.

Like I said in your other post, Check the fuel flow out of the filter housing.

I changed the title as it's cranking (spinning) but it's not starting or running, 2 completely different issues.
