Finding threads started by a member

I was about to post something in the off topic forum, but thought I might have started a similar, or even identical, thread in the past.

I was hopeful I could do a search of threads that I have started to verify if I had, or had not, posted something similar.

At OTT, I was unable to find how to do this, if it is even possible. I know on other sites it is possible.

Is there a way to list all threads started by an individual poster, which would prove again I am a dunce, no argument there, or is this type of search simply not available at OTT?

Edit: I did not post this question in the OFF Topic forum, because it seems to be on topic...and if such a search is not available, then it would be suggested that it might be helpful if such a search capability were offered. So it then would become a suggestion...LOL

I went to "YOU", second banner down ON RIGHT:
"YOUR PROFILE"
then "POSTINGS"

It may depend on your starting page, it varied from where I started....

For threads you have started, go to your profile and hit find (blue circle), then all threads by you

Click “your threads”.

I think I tried that. But I also think it shows all posts, and not threads that I started. Not to debate I am a moron...accept that...

That looks perfect, but how did you get there, for those of us that lack what is needed?

I do know that like turning off a light, knowing where the switch is makes all the difference in the world...just trying to find that switch...LOL...not difficult on a couple other sites I frequent...

I tried again. But without success. Granted I may just be an imbecile, and will try again. BUT I wonder if there is a difference between what is provided to lifetime members and commoners like myself. This may be the case, or I am just lacking in whatever is necessary to follow instructions.

A shortcoming on my end would not be unexpected...

Doesn't seem to. It took me to a post where one person replied which was skeets, who is actually local to me geographically.

I appreciate your help with this. I was just trying to avoid a duplicate post in the off topic forum. No big deal...

Thanks! I see now if I click on "forums" the second line appears and it shows threads I started.
