I got a BX 2360 last week with the Kobota FEL. Playing around this weekend I tried to lift the front wheels off the ground, first just straight down pressure then with the bucket on the ground uncurled the bucket and it just forced the arms up.
Should I be able to lift the wheels off the ground?.

If I should

What could be wrong?

I've never used a BX but seems like it would lift the front wheels no matter what position the bucket was in unless something was on the rear of the tractor transferring weight to the front.

Thanks for your replies.

I got home disconnected the quick releases and reconnected them and tried again, the front end came right up.

Andy, if sometime you try to lift the front wheels by curling the bucket down, say, to get it out of 4-wheel drive (works great), and it doesn't lift the wheels, you can push the joystick farther right beyond the detent. It will curl at a slower speed but with more power and will lift the wheels with no problem. When you push right and it feels like it has come to the end, push a little harder to get beyond the detent. A lot of BX owners don't know that detent exists. I didn't until I installed a hydraulic chute rotator on my snow blower and it would only run in one direction.

Even my dealer didn't know about that one when I bought mine with a snowblower w/ hydro rotation. To their defence they are from a non-snow region and don't sell many snowblowers let alone one with the hydro rotation.
