I have an F-2400 4wd mower.
Original tires are front 23 x 10.5 - 12, rear 16 x 6.5 - 8.
Proposed tires front 26 x 12 - 12, rear 18 x 9.5 - 8 using stock rims.
I want the stability of the wider tires.
I know the rear rims are 6" wide, not sure of the front.
Will this work or will narrow rims be a problem? Thanks for any help Laddie.

Sorry, I can not help you much but would suggest taking one of each rim as is to a couple of good tire shops and let them hopefully give you good advise.

They probably are at first inclined to try to sell you what they have on the shelve so you probably need to say you are in no hurry and are willing to wait for the proper tires to be shipped in.

Here is what my F3060 has (Yes, my rims need cleaning up and repainting!):

Front: 24 x 13 - 12 Rear: 18 x 9.5 - 8

No idea what the rim sizes are, but according to my owners manual the tires are supposed to be:

Front 23 x 10.5 - 12 and Rear 18 x 7 - 8

F mowers at work, 2690 and 3680 are 24x12x12 front and 18x9.5x8 rear. And yea, they got the good out of the rears.

@laddie I don’t know if a 26x12x12 would fit. May be too tall.

Thanks, I just got this mower. Your rear tires look almost double wide to mine.
I think I will get 24 x 12 - 12 & 18 x 9.5 - 8.
I can't find 12 x 13 - 12 at a reasonable price.

Please post photos after you have them installed, and it would be good to know approximate installed cost if you don't mind saying?

This is the response from Kubota.

"Thank you for bringing this concern regarding tire options to the attention of the Customer Satisfaction Department; while we are able to record your comments, this department is unable to provide any form of technical, repair or maintenance assistance.

To begin the diagnostic process, Kubota Tractor Corporation recommends bringing your tractor to the dealership that sold it to you. If this is not a feasible option, you may also contact any local Kubota dealership and arrange to have to the unit brought to them for diagnosis and/or repair.

Kubota only engineered one tire size for this machine.
Original tires are front 23 x 10.5 - 12, rear 16 x 6.5 - 8."

I purchased the tires front 26 x 12 - 12, rear 18 x 9.5 - 8 .
Just waiting for them to show up. Then find a tire shop.
I will keep you posted.

Sounds good!

Mine has inner tubes installed by the previous owner.
Probably a good idea.

At least I have tendency to inflate this type of tires to pretty low air pressure for hopefully less bumpy ride so inner tube should help to keep tires inflated longer.
Like I said it was done by the previous owner who put 3600 hours on the F3060 before I bought it.

Rear 18 x 9.5 - 8 $80, mounting fee $40 so $120 for rear tires,
I haven't received the front tires yet.
While inspecting the steering component's I found an enormous amount of play.
I posted it on the maintenance forum.

I ordered 24x12x12, glad they are lost. I now ordered 26"x12"-12".
The new rear tires are 2 inches taller, so the front tires need to be 3" taller.
I drove a short distance with 23" front & 18" rear, it broke up the gravel.
It is a mismatch.

I had the new front tires 26 x 12 - 12 mounted.
I read in the manual the rims are reversible, I added 1 1/2" spacers.
Now the front tires are at least 9" wider stance than original.
The backs are 6" wider.
I also installed a Sun 210-f Lev-o-gage Inclinometer.
