Engine swap questions. L3250 (V1902 engine to V2203 Kubota

First post question because search function opens then closes immediately, wassup with that? Lol

Anyway i bought a L3250 with a bad engine for 200.00 (v1902, i think?) and have access to v2203 for cheap 1000.00. Can the 2203 engine work in my tractor and any help here is appreciated.
Which forum would i find engine swap info?

It's kind of a multi part answer, and the answers are not set in stone, as there are multiple variations of the V2203, they are not all the same.

There are 4 versions that I know of and may subsets to those versions.

There are some huge hurdles to overcome with some models, less with others.

Can you enlighten me as to what i should be looking for?
My 753G bobcat has a 2203 that is quite different from my 1902. Starter is totally different for sure. What 2203 is my optimum swap?

You need to find a V2203DI with a fuel cam with a pump drive, it's a splined section of the fuel cam that allows you to power the hydrualic pump.

The other major issue is you will have to have the mounting plate for the bellhousing reworked to be able to bolt up to the larger mounting surface spacing on the back of the block.
