Now that I have added a tach/hr meter to the dash of my B7100 I have begun to consider the other aspects of engine management, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level. I want to add these ideas to my tractor to lessen the chances of engine failure because of something simple.

anyone have any ideas to neatly add these items? I believe I would like to have something visible like a gauge pod or????

Thanks,
Kytim

You could add a gauge pod or panel that has the gauges your wanting to keep an eye on.
I've done that to several Dodge trucks with the Cummins in 'em. Something similar to what is in the pic would be cool.

Oh I remember "that" smell well. I thought the trucks also had a similar one but just a little different. My first car was a '66 caprice w/ 300hp 327 and a powerglide w. PS, PB, air, and factory tinted windows( that was a rare option). My first truck was a "66 C-10 292 4 speed that the chevy dealer made into a show truck. they even filled the stake pockets way back then. boy I miss those rides!

How would you go about hooking up the oil pressure and water temp gages? Are there plugs that the sending units will screw into? For instance on an older tractor like the L175 that I'm getting ready to start on.
