Edit Redirects

Multiple times this evening when I tried to edit a post I was redirected to an advertiser's website when I clicked on the save button. I understand the need for advertising but this functionality, if intended, is unacceptable.

I’ve had that happen a couple of times recently, too. I always post from my phone so assumed it was operator error.

I have noticed when posting from the phone (iPhone 8) if it takes me a while to type, add photos, and edit before actually posting it isn’t uncommon for the screen to jump to put an ad over most of the screen, at which point I have to scroll to get the dialogue box back. Come to think of it, it is more problematic in edits than on original posts.

Could be I’m hitting the ad by accident when the screen jumps. Been doing the ad screen jump while trying to post thing as long as I’ve been posting, which I suppose is only about a year +/-.

What's odd is they were all to the same site. It's the recent advertisement that moves across the middle of your screen from left to right. Is almost like the system thought the ad was scrolling over the save button though I never saw it.

Hmmmm that sounds really annoying and is definitely not as designed. Next time you see this ad could you capture a screenshot of it so I can take a look? Mobile vs. desktop and what browser you are using can help too. Thanks!

Will do. It was mobile on a Samsung Galaxy S21+ using Chrome.
