Hard to believe this crazy rabbit came right up to me to get his/her carrot and ate half after 5 months since I seen it last.

We get baby bunny dens occasionally in the tall grass in our yard. A couple different times I was in the zone mowing and day dreaming, and had one of the buggers come tearing out from under the mower deck hot footing it for the ditch 
Bought gave me a heart attack each time it happens
Several years ago now, I was hunting. Was snoozing in my blind and heard some rustling. All if a sudden mid sized fawn pops it head in the blind Hung out with me for about half an hour, shared some of my lunch, then wandered off.
Told my brother about it later on figuring he would think I was nuts. Come to find out he had some pictures of it hanging out with his kids. Farmer up the road witnessed someone hitting it's momma with a vehicle and rescued it. Fawn hung out in the neighborhood and was adopted by pretty much every one.

That's pretty cool, why can't people be more like animals? Funny thing is these rabbits disappear a day or 2 before the season opens and usually show up again right after it closes, no lie. This year Bud is a little late showing up but then again I stopped putting the feed out beside the sea can because I was starting to have a problem with raccoons which I didn't want to have hanging around because of my dogs.We get baby bunny dens occasionally in the tall grass in our yard. We have snowshoe hares up here. This last summer we had a litter of bunnies born under our greenhouse. Summer pics they were brown and by fall they began to turn white. Kind of cool to watch the transformation. The were not very affraid of us as long as the corgis weren't out.
