My pup loves the snow but I appreciate a dog unfamiliar with it being indecisive.
She was funny when we went for a walk. She kept prancing around in it. Then drop her head and scoop some snow into her mouth 🤣😂😂😂 She's 5 and this is the first time I've experienced her seeing snow. It's snowed a couple times over the past few years, but I had been out of town at the time and missed it 😁😁😁

my pup was born in october and she has only been on grass where some plowed areas have melted. Snows deep i. some spots so she has to hop. It it hilarious. She also already points to noises and objects. Cars, birds, her shadow lol

she is a German shorthair pointer. It’s my first puppy so I’ve been
earning just as much as she has, starting professional training this week!!

Most of my kids were just hanging outside all day and night when it's in the negatives, they just don't care about the cold.

Gypsy loves it out there. We are up to 10" of snow. She was burying her face in it. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

She did realize it's much easier to walk in the tracks I made with the truck when I got home 😁😁😁😁

Haha my pup does the same. We refer to him as the snow gopher.

Didn’t get my phone out fast enough. She was completely covered when popped out of the snow. Some of the yard is up past her chest.

Lot of that going around, Daren. Daughter brought her "puppy" down for a run but didn't bring our great-granddaughter with her. When they got home, Izzy said "I missed him!" and it looks like the feeling was mutual.

The above drawing puts me in mind of an incident we experienced.
Most dog parents have one special pup above all others, ours was Einstein. When he passed, we were just destroyed. After he was put down, the vet asked us if we wanted him cremated and have his ashes. We were so screwed up we weren't thinking straight, and said no. We had never had one cremated to save his ashes before, so that was not out of the ordinary.
About two weeks later, I was out metal detecting in a local park, and dug up a heart shaped pendant, heavily crusted with dirt. Threw it in my pouch, and went about about my business.
When I got back home, the was a message from the vet saying they had a pick up for me. We were waiting for a prescription for our other pup, so I went to pick it up. They had the prescription, and Einstein's ashes.
I was stunned, and asked who paid for them. ($150) They said "We assumed you did."
I called the crematorium, and they said they had no record of the cremation, under our name, or the vet's, or his office. The vet swears he did not pay, and the crematorium got pretty irritated with me for pushing the issue, as they claimed they had no record of it, and had not made a delivery to our vet's office in two weeks. The ashes were clearly marked with his name & our last name.
Gave up, and went home to clean my finds from metal detecting. When I cleaned the heart shaped pendant, I found this- the pic isn't great, but it shows a sitting dog with angel wings, and says
"Guardian Angel of Dogs'"

Went to the walking trail today. Someone enjoyed her ride in the new truck. As well as the daffodils 😁😁😁
