What is the most economical way to switch from pin to quick attach bucket setup? I was reading the L2230A from Kubota.

If i have a pin on bucket with LA525, what is the easiest way for it to accept other implements such as stump bucket or pallet forks? Thank you.

ATI makes a Tach-All for the LA525 for about $1,000.
If you can cut, fit and weld, you can buy the latch mechanisms and weld them to the ears you cut off your bucket.

Like potreeboy said get a ssqa and install it on the tractor. Then you can switch to ssqa implements with ease. You don't need to convert your bucket. You can unpin the ssqa to use the bucket but its a REAL PITA! You can buy a plate that can be welded on to your bucket to permanently convert it to ssqa. A local welding shop can do it for you if your not inclined to do it yourself.

check out Everything Attachments, they sell adapter plates that are made in Michigan and drop shipped, not sure which company they are from. They are very compact, keeping the bucket very close to its original position. The one I had for my BX only weighed about 50 pounds and was around $500 I think. It was the best money I ever spent on that machine. After I ordered, it arrived via fedex in under 4 days.

So to understand correctly, i need an adapter that goes on the end of the boon of the loader, and a metal plate that will be welded onto the bucket after the tabs are cut off?

For cost, the adapter for the loader side is about $1100, and the metal plate to the bucket is about 300-400? Does that sound right?

entirely up to you... When I converted my BX I sold the old pin on bucket for $200 and purchased a new SSQA bucket for $400. Buckets arent that expensive if you don't feel like DIY'ing. Just gotta find the right conversion adapter for your specific loader.

Close! The adapter plate you can get from Titan attachments for $135 (in the link below). A welding shop should charge you no more than $350 to weld it on.
I don't know the SSQA adapter price but its probably around $1100. The SSQA adapter is a pin on so no big deal to add to your front loader arms. Just unpin the bucket and use the same pins to instal the SSQA.

I am not sure why you would want to go aftermarket when the Kubota one is cheaper? L2216 $461.00

I went with ATI for my Ford 1720. I ordered it through Messicks. ATI built it for my loader. All I had to do was bolt it on. I also got the plate to weld to my bucket. Very nice setup. It was about $900. I also order the WR Long 3rd valve kit. I have a grapple, pallet forks and my bucket. Very happy with it.

If i go with the Titan mounting plate for the bucket, what is the proper thickness? 1/2 or 3/8"? And are those plates universal to any bucket? Do they just center it? What about the angle of the plate to the back of the bucket? Thanks for sharing your way of doing things.

Will definitely call the sales department tomorrow and see if it's feasible. If it is within a 1k for the whole project and doesn't require no more than taking off the bucket and put it on my pickup and have a weld shop do the rest, I think i can handle that:)

Go with the 3/8". Your loaders capacity is to low for anything heavier. In fact, if they had a 1/4", it would still be good. Yes universal. When I installed the last one, I just centered it on the bucket. An inch or 2 up or down just won't make enough difference to matter. The angle of the plate changes with the hydraulics of your loader so no differance.

If you ever plan on getting/ using a grapple or tree puller or any other fel tool that needs its own hydraulic connection, now is the time to instal a 3rd function kit as well as the SSQA.

I converted my LA504 loader using a factory Kubota SSQA adaptor for the loader side. I bought a Everything Attachments weld on plate for the bucket. These worked well for me.
