I saw a chicken "tractor' made from a discarded trampoline frame with chicken wire stretched from end to end.

I see trampoline for free on FaceBook and Craig's list. The metal frames were used for the arch. Since only 1/2 of the circle is needed per "truss" it was pretty strong. With chicken wire stretched across it you would have to worry about material being cut up.

If you want material over the wire you could use billboard material. I've bought used billboard for #35 each. They range in size, but some 24'x40', I think.

Back when the girls were small, I built one and just used 1 1/4 PVC conduit with hog fence arched over amd chicken wire and really just used zip ties to hold a blue tarp over one end for shade and where the water was. The tarp and everthing was cheap enough and it could be moved with a small lawn tractor. As I recall I got the plans out of MEN magazine.
