BX25D tire swap

I am thinking to swap industrial tires for turf tires.
Front tires are 18x8.5-10
Rear tires are 26x12-12
What will happen if I use a smaller set of tires - 16x7.8-8 and 24x12x12, other than loosing an inch of ground clearance?

What will most likely happen is you'll rip the gears out of either the front diff ( most likely ) or the 4wd case.
Tire ratio is very important in these small tractors.
The front diff gears are about the size of your thumb.
I also don't think you'll get an 8" rim to fit the front and clear everything.
