I have recently purchased a BX25D. Considering all the recent snow I am thinking of a snow blower.
What is the difference between a BX2750 and the BX2750A, B, C, and D? I cannot find any info on the Internet about this.
And, what is a reasonable price for a used BX2750?
Thanks for the help.

I can't say for certain but it sounds like model revisions. In your example above, BX2750D would be the most recent version of it.

I have a BX2750 & a BX2750D, and there is virtually no difference between them. The BX2750 has skid shoes on the rear, and the BX2750D has a provision for the shoes on the front or the rear. I got my BX2750 with a rotted out case, and I bought a new case for it, and rebuilt it as a back up for the day that my BX2750 fails. It has been bullet proof since I bought it in 2006, and the only parts that i have have had to replace are the drive chain, shoes, and lower cutting edge. It is a workhorse of a blower. The one thing that I like about the older one is that it was painted from the factory, and the replacement cases are now powder coated. Unlike paint, it is more difficult to do touch up work, since powder coat peels off like plastic, unlike paint. I do about 3500 feet of paved driveway and that is what wears down the cutting edge and the shoes. I also have a Kubota BX snow blade to clean up.

Congrats on the tractor! You could also keep an eye out for a BX2755HD ... same idea but 5" wider, thicker gauge steel and 4 blades on the 2nd stage fan instead of 3. Let us know what you find. Sorry can't help you on price.

Thanks guys.

I lucked into a used-once BX5450 with all the right parts to fit my BX25D for $2,400. It did involve a rather scary road trip to Ohio for pick up when all the snow/ice weather was happening but I did not want to loose it to someone else.

Easy install. It has the hand chute rotator, not hydraulic, but that is fine and easy enough to use.

I thought that once I had it I would not need it, you know how that can go. But I have used it three times now for this heavy Chicago snow and am quite pleased with it. And the tractor.

That seems to be a reasonable price. I paid $3,227 five years ago for a new front mount snow blower for my BX. I bought it at the same time that I bought the tractor. It included the following:

BX5450 snow blower
BX2751 male quick hitch and subframe
BX2753 mid PTO kit

I got a quote from a local dealer, sales, not parts. Right at $5,000 before a $900 dealer assembly charge. $2,400 sounded real good compared to that.

Your quote above has hydraulic chute rotation and electric chute deflector which adds $1,000+ to the cost, and the dealer assembly is very high too. Regardless, you got a good price for a snowblower and necessary parts in good working condition. I'd like to add hydraulic chute rotation to my blower and will look into that this spring/summer.

Snowblower 3596 + quick hitch 658 + PTO 495 + freight 268 = 5017.

I was not sure what dealer assembly consists of and was surprised to see it listed. I did not challenge them since I did not buy from them. Do they always add that charge?

I don't think there's much in the way of dealer assembly for a snow blower, and certainly not enough to warrant $900. I bought an MX6000 recently with the third function valve and top-n-tilt which requires two remotes. My local dealer was going to charge me $900 to install the hoses, valves etc. for both upgrades but I have a good relationship with them and they took off $400 since this is the second tractor I've bought from them. Even still, I could have done the work myself but when it's -10F outside I'm less likely to complain about $500 for the installation, particularly since there won't be any warranty issues.
