I like the idea of being able to remove the weights if needed but could you guys let me know the Pros and Cons of each and where I could get the Wheel Weighs. Also what would be the best all around to load tires.

Thanks

Wheel weights for a BX are not very popular, you can't get much weight on them.

What do you need the weight for?
Would a ballast box do the job?

I feel like I need more traction, I usually leave the backhoe on. I keep hearing people talking about how they like their loaded tires. Figured extra traction would not hurt.

What are the Rim Guards for?

the filled tires ONLY ADD about 75 per tire......... better than nothing - and better than taking those weights on and off IF you found some

rim guard is beet juice - very dense liquid

oh.. if your feeling your losing traction with the BH on, you need chains, not weights!

I see their website has a tool to figure out how much, I am still not seeing a price per gallon. DO I have to run Metal valve stems? Typically I do use metal ones on my equipment but the BX has rubber at the moment.

wwf weighs a good bit less than beet juice aka rim guard - but..but ... a good bit cheaper.

about 10 gallons per tire

Most dealers of Rim Guard will not sell it outright, you will need to take the tires or whole tractor to them to get them filled.

Assuming you want counterweight when BH off because you have a loader (?), then a carryall with programmable weight box would be a good choice.

If you put beet juice in, you're supposed to remove it when BH is installed( heard that info is in the manual...)
If you use wheel weights, you might not get enough and/or PITA to remove, when, BH is reinstalled
If you use carryall, you load up a skid with 'weight',slide carryall under, lift and go do the job.

I have 2 skids, light and heavy. light for moving mulch/compost (bulky but light) , heavy for moving rocks/concrete.

I typically leave the BH on unless I need the 3 PT hitch, I have a Larger JD though for most of the 3 PT work. Guessing axle strange is why they want it removed?
