I know that my tilt function control cable got water/condensation in it, and now it freezes up. Has anyone ever tried getting/putting antifreeze or windshield washer solution in those control cables? Seems like it should work, but I don't want to go through the hassle of disconnecting everything to find out it doesn't....

Well, this is where good ol WD40 should work - it was made for displacing water. Spray the hell out of it and see if it helps.

I find the Kubota cables are quite different than the motorcycle cables of my youth.
I went to TSC and bought a big syringe made for animals and loaded it with methanol.
I injected the methanol through some of the rubber seals. it was not a perfect solution but did help.
