We broke a tooth off the 16” bucket of our M62. The underlying shank looks fine.

Are these held in place by standard roll pins or special Kubota pins?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your bucket tooth roll pins are likely "P156" pins.
You can buy a package of 10 pins on Amazon for less than $20.
I keep spare pins on hand for my 16" & 24" Kubota quick connect bucket teeth (L48 TLB)

Called Kubota and they confirmed… they sell a specialized spiral spring pin at $8 each.

The thing that threw me off for a few minutes was that the actual pin diameter is less than you would think from looking at the recess. But it actually came out pretty easily.

I don't know what Kubota is calling a "specialized spring pin", but the pins sold on Amazon have worked well for me.
I expect that all such "specialized spring pins" are made in China.

Just use the correct roll pin punch to drive it out and drive the new one in. In the "old days" we called them roll pins. I am certain that you can find less expensive ones than the Snap On, but I know that they sell them so I grabbed the webpage quickly.

I Like the way you think. My truck guy Tony loves it when I think that way.

I only buy off the truck when I have to. I have so much that my duplicates must have had triplets when I wasn't looking. Spent the day putting tools away and I am starting to think that it is time to sell off half of them. How many straight blades and Phillips screwdrivers does one need? How many 1/4" ratches do I need? It isn't like I am making a living with these tools. I fix things for myself only—time to thin the herd and empty the toolboxes.

A few months ago I was diagnosing a misfire in a jetta. Upon pulling the engine cover off I caught a glimpse of chrome. Sure enough, the last guys 3/8 drive shallow snap on 10mm. I'm sure others have found some of mine. 🤣
