Had a brush hog on the back of my BX 25D last fall going through the forest on my property when I hit a rather big rock. The tractor stalled and I called it a day. Took the brush hog off and stored the tractor over the winter.

Just went out to try and cut the grass with the mid mower deck and there is severe binding when I try to engage the PTO. The mower deck does not engage, and as I said the PTO handle feels like it’s binding on something as I try to engage it. It doesn’t go all the way down. Any suggestions before I crawl under there as to what it might be? Thanks in advance.

Sadly it's sounding like you might have done some internal damage to it.
