I'm new to tractors and Hydraulics but a long time mechanic and off roader.
My BH80-X with an independent Hydraulic Pump (PTO) has a really weak bucket cylinder both curl and uncurl. I bought and threw on a in line pressure tester. I get about 750 PSI. Then I fully extended the cylinder (curled), disconnected the line to the retract (uncurl) and starter the pto and used the curl and got a continuous flow out of the retract (uncurl) port on the cylinder.
This should mean I have fluid bypassing the seal inside right?
And that the cylinder needs to be rebuilt?
Anything else I should do before ordering the rebuild kit?
I have id'd the kit as 1024760 from Messicks as the cylinder ends in J.
Looking forward to playing with this but can't dig with a curl this weak.
Thanks.
