Using Messick's as reference.
It looks like at one time the drag link components could be purchased individually, based on the fact the illustrated drawings callout individual item numbers. Unfortunately the bill of material no longer lists the individual parts.
At this point in time it looks like only the complete assembly (item 23) is available for purchase.
Item 23 includes:
24 drag link bar only - No longer listed
25 Ball joints - No longer listed (2 needed)
26 Nut - Listed
27 cotter pin - Listed.
Perhaps if someone has an old part number for the ball joints you could find old stock.
