B8200 Decals

Bought a B8200 from a fellow who was moving for a good price with the intention of selling it after cleaning it up and painting. At least that is my story. But after playing on it for a while I now realize it may be hard to give up after I finish the cleanup.

Anyway I've searched the forum and internet for decals for the B8200 and have not been able to find a set for this model except at the dealer (sold individually). One online dealer wanted $70 for one hood decal. Does anyone have any suggestions for decals for this model?

Thanks phildac. I may go that route. Guess I'll have to swallow hard and shell out $85 plus shipping for the three decals.

Wonder what it would cost to get a print shop to make some?

As a follow-up, I took the old decals to a local print shop (removed them intact with a heat gun and scraper). They will print 5 decals for me for $60 including set-up fee.

The original side decals are printed on a metallic type foil while the new ones will be vinyl but the difference should be hard to see. Guess I'll see for sure next week.

Check eBay. There are sellers there that offer them for other models so it might be worth an email to them to see if they either have or can make them for the 8200.

Apogee, I checked ebay and several other sites but evidently the B8200 is less common cause they don't carry them. Appreciate the reply!

Phildac, I am in the process of painting my machine and really like how you did the foot rest area as shown in your photo. Did you use any special kind of paint or non-slip surface? Your machine really looks good!
