B7500 CRANKS BUT DOES NOT FIRE...350 HOURS DEALER REPLACED COMPRESSION PUMP - DID NOT FIX...HE SAID THE COMPRESSION WAS OK....??

John,

Give us more background as to why it went into the shop - the compression pump you mention...... the fuel pump or the injector pump was replaced?

It was sitting for about 3 weeks and I tried to start it and no firming ...just started tuning over. Little smoke . Took it to dealer.

Yes checked out the injectors good spray — new plugs new injectors new starter new battery primed a hundred times... not sure if they nstalled The pump with correct shins and timing get.

White smoke is unburnt fuel. You getting a little wisp, or a plume? Fuel rack could be stuck in kill position.
Giveaway is the control lever on block has no return (spring back) to the idle position.
