New guy here. Just picked up a B7100 HST 4wd with a little issue. When I press the accelerator pedal to go forward, and then take my foot OFF the pedal The tractor keeps moving forward! I have to press the reverse pedal slightly to stop going forward. The same thing happens in reverse...so it is difficult to come to a stand still / neutral position.

Anyone experience this on this type of tractor? Easy fix? What could be causing this issue?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks-

Normal problem. The linkage that connects the foot pedal to the hydrostatic pump is either slightly out out adjustment and\or needs to be greased. I believe there's a grease zerk on the pedal pivot, someone with a 7100 can confirm.

I dont know how old she is but get underneath and look for a bunch of gunk grass leaves weeds and such also if where you are is pretty cold like right now, the grease might be a tad sticky too,, just a thought

I am north of Pittsburgh, so yes it is quite cold out there right now.

I will get under there and check out what's going on. After the last few days, we both need to to thaw out! I will provide update soon!

Thanks-
