Does anyone know if FEL plans exist anywhere for a homebuilt FEL? And is it feasible?
My B7100 is the old gear drive, and I have less than $2500 into the whole tractor at this point (not including implements). It is a great little work horse, but I really could use a small FEL for it.
I can find pictures, and they look fairly simple to construct, although I'm not very familiar with hydraulics. It seems the aftermarket loaders cost more than I paid for the whole tractor.
I have access to any size square tubing I need, and a shop to fab it up. I am experienced in fab work, and a certified welder, so the actual building it shouldn't be a problem, I just want to make sure the dimensions are correct, and it is sized appropriately for this little machine.
Basically I just want it for the utility of it. If I can more a few cubic feet of stone or soil from A to B, or load small things into the back of the truck with it I will be stoked.
