B7100/b1730c+la403 valve

Acquired an la403 valve to replace existing valve. When I received loader it was disassembled so o guessed it would be simple…rod end and blind end on the same side of the valve. No such luck.

Rod end and base end on same spool is correct. So what's the problem?

I am going to guess that valve has regen on the bucket spool so you have to hook the regen port to the base end of the cylinder. Reverse them and the bucket will not curl.

Sorry I was typing on phone at the barn.

That must be it, when I tried to dump it locked up tight. Pulled the hoses off and had flow out of both of hoses, the rod end and blind end. So just swap the hoses, and it will work?
