Hi All!

I have noticed some hydraulic fluid leaking out at the Hydraulic pump where the hydraulic block connects and will be fixing it this weekend. And, since I need to take it apart to fix that, I figured I would pull the pump also and replace the O-rings and oil seal while I am at it (getting smarter in my old age ;)). My question is whether or not I need to drain the hydraulic fluid prior to pulling it off or if the amount of oil or overflow at the pump is minimal? I changed the hydraulic fluid about 10 hours ago and would rather not drain and replace it all if I don't have to ... but if a gallon of fluid is going to come pouring out I will do it the easy way and drain it first:)

If anyone has tried to replace the pump without draining the hydraulic fluid ... I would be interested in hearing their experiences!

Thanks!
Dave

Dude... do like I did... pull it up on car ramps and THEN take off the offending o-rings losing VERY little Hydro fluid.

Been there done that!:D Butch
