Hi all!

new to the forum, and the kubota world! Finally bought my own machine yesterday, a B6200D with a great bend loader, and I quickly found it gets buried easily in the snow.
Tires are unloaded and I don’t have any rear ballast yet, I know that will help as well, so that’s the first step for me.
The rear tires are super wide turf tires 31x13.5-15. I’m thinking of swapping to a narrow ag tire in the rear for winter, but obviously I don’t want to mess up the 4x4.
Any recommendations on a rim and tire combination that would work for me?
Thanks!
Tom

I'm not familiar with that machine but adding rear ballast is the correct starting point. You may also want to see if HDAP or R14 tires are available in that size as they excel in both snow and yard work. Whatever you do, make sure your new tires have roughly the same circumference as the original.

Tire chains will help a lot. They would be less money than new tires.

I am with the others - chains are the best bang for the money - might have to slide the wheels out to get enough clearance however.

Chains + rear ballast should make a substantial difference. Best of luck and report back!
