B6100E B48 Mower Deck Restore

Wanted to Restore my B48 Mower Deck, I bought it used about 12 years ago and did tear down and repaint but the paint on the deck just didn't last like it should, so I decided to tear it down again and sand blast everything right this time, I used Hammerite paint (GOLD) on the entire deck and top coated about 3 hours later with Kubota Orange. I carefully disasembled the spindles and re-used the bearing and seals, I bought them when I did it the first time and they looking really good. I used stainless steel hardware that I bought from Mcmaster-Carr, won't have to worry about rust again. I think it turned out good for 35 years old.

Now ya have to repaint the rest of the tractor to match the mower deck! Good job it looks great...

Looks really good. Is there a reason you used the Hammerite paint?

I wanted a paint that would last, is tough and durable and will bond with rust, Hammerite is that paint, used it for over 20 years and is very tough and fills heavy rusted area's nice, it's only about $27 a quart and you don't need primer and it's self etching.
