B6100 Charging Circuit?

I have an older B6100, it's around a 1978 vintage. The battery stopped charging recently, but when I looked for a pulley driven alternator there is none! What is the charging system comprised of on these tractors? And is there a schematic available? thanks

Go to Kubotabooks.com and download the WSM (aka service manual).

The charging system is a dynamo where you would think there should be a waterpump, as there is no water pump on these.

There is a regulator under the dash, it's more likely the issue than the dynamo.

Yep AC multimeter, disconnect the 2 wires and you're looking for 22VAC between wires( not DC) if I remember right.

I ran the engine up to high idle and got 17v ac out of it.
