My B7100 went on a trailer yesterday heading for Canada so I am in the market for a new machine.

I want the loader and 6' finish mower. Eventually I'll put a backhoe on it.

Size wise the 2 machines seem relatively close at least on paper.

Has anyone else compared the 2 ?

I'd like some opinions before I sign on the dotted line.

Thanks

Im not sure exactly which B33xx it was, but I know theres been some Tier4 issues with them.

The L series has been solid with the Tier4 (DPF) emissions bits.

That said, the L2501 does not have a DPF.

B3300SU or B3350? You mentioned a new machine so can only assume you're talking about the B3350. If that's the case then you should do a search on that tractor. Seems like quite a few disappointed owners but I have also read that some have had no issues whatsoever.

I am torn between purchasing a B2650 and a L2501. I think what makes the choice so difficult is that they really are close in physical size. Weight is obviously more with the L. My quotes show that a B2650 with RC, BB, forks, quick hitch and loaded rears is about 1K more than a L2501 setup identically.

After owning my B for some time, the B2650 is not that close to an L2501 in physical size. The B2650 has a stronger rated 3pt hitch, but similar PTO hp. The loaders on paper are very close, but the L has a 66" bucket.

The L2501 sitting right next to an L3301 is not identical in size. Its not much, but the differences are there.

Honestly I would avoid the B3350 for the time being. Let Kubota iron out the DPF on that particular model.
