Started having trouble engaging my PTO the lever turning it on and off works ok but when i try to move from mid to rear the mid doesn't want to disengage all the way and when i try to move back to the mid i get a grinding noise sometimes, if i move it rearward real abrupt it will engage but the slightest movement to the mid disengages it , it like my linkage has moved or something or both are trying to engage at the same time but i don't see anything loose, i primarily use tractor to mow with, with occasional three point fertilizer spreader.

Are you using the clutch? My B2920 behaves similarly. Sometimes I get the gear grind. I use the clutch to slightly get the PTO to move then try again.

No clutch on B2650. Likely just needs some minor adjustment/lube to the linkages.

I don't see any provisions for adjustment and I have also lubed every thing well:confused:
You're right. I just looked myself and don't see anything either to adjust. Sorry, nothing to add.

My bad. His is the deluxe larger frame B-series. Mine is the economy series.
