Is there a way to keep the seat springs from bottoming out and maybe soften the ride some?

Im not sure about the new seats but on an old seat on a yellow tractor, I use an old set of valve springs from an old HD I am sure you could adapt some heaver springs to take up the weight a bit,,, and yeah as good as everything is on my beast the seat sucks

Thanks for the replies. I was surprised how easy the seat bottoms out. I will look for stiffer springs that can replace the existing ones.

I have a new B2601. The swivel seat that comes with the backhoe is an absolute joke. Honestly, Kubota should be embarrassed. When I'm done mowing my back actually hurts (and I'm a fit 165 lb 33 year old).

I'm not asking for an air ride seat, but good lord, for a $25,000 tractor package come up with a better solution.

I'm already wondering if it's possible to swap the LX2610 suspension base onto my machine.

You may be able to put a shorter stiffer spring inside a taller softer spring to provide a softer ride until you hit larger bumps.

And it is not important if he stiffer spring is inside or outside just shorter. You also have to concern yourself with the free length and the length when solid.

Die springs are probably the type you need to look at to select from
