The rear linkage on my B2150 HST has started going up and down by itself.

It's happening by itself. The control lever is set to down. Have we bumped another control or is this a fault ?
Tractor is running at idle in the video, but fault still occurs at 3/4 throttle.
Fault occurs when HST is in high or low range.

All suggestions welcome.

#1 check for feed back linkage that is either broken bent or removed.

#2 until you do get it sorted out turn the know under the seat to stop the three point from just flying around.

Thank you. I'll try that tomorrow morning and report back.
Thanks.

Unloaded the trailer this morning and lift arms work fine. I'll put it down to overloading.
I'm going to modify a dolly trailer to sit in between which will take the weight. Otherwise I'll just use a bigger tractor.

Thank you to everyone for their suggestions.

Yes,not enough tongue weight. Tongue would drop every time wheel hit a lump.
Do yourself a favour and use drawbar for towing, may be safer i think. Or, as you mentioned a bigger tractor.

Well dang, I never thought of the three point being in the down position and the trailer just picking it up.
Yea that would do it!

Tried putting another trailer between the tractor and the hay trailer. The middle trailer would convert downward pressure from the hay drawbar to upward push on the 3PL on my B2150 vice versa.
Tried this because I wanted to see what happened.
Didn't really seem to help. Similar problems.
Ended up using my Fergy 35 to drag the hay trailer around, did the job fine.

Have subsequently used the B2150 for moving hay balers around (the biggest probably weighs 2 tonne and is putting a lot of downward pressure on the 3PL) and it's working great.
Using the HST to creep a big baler backwards into a shed is much better than what I was doing before. Just that alone justifies keeping it.
Now I just need to trade the turfs on the back for proper sized ags and I'll be really happy.
