I just wanted to share this to confirm that a John Deere armrest kit does fit a MX5800. I did some searching on here and found an old post about using John Deere part for arm rests for a Kubota MX5800.

I purchased the John Deere Adjustable Armrest Kit Part No. BM23761, cost of $85 plus shipping plus sales tax, I found them on eBay. There were 3 small indents in the side of my seat plastic side frame, the kit arrived with metal clips / screw fixtures which slid onto the plastic frame, the armrest had a heavy metal L shape bracket that required the three torxx head screws to be screwed into the 3 metal clips. Fit was good, total fitting time was about 5 minutes.

Here is someone installing the arm rests: Skip to 4:09 in video -

Folding armrests are a nice addition and dit not interfer with any side controls. I ordered another pair to fit my L3901, waiting for delivery, they were a Snapper part number, I’ll post again to confirm if they fit.

Let us know how the arm rest fix the L3901, I would like to put a pair on mine.
I will do, hopefully will see delivery of the L3901 armrests in the next 48 hours, everything is running so slow with USPS these days. I'll take a few more photos to show install. Keeping fingers crossed that they fit.

Good afternoon, would definitely like to see the results also, I have a L4600 I would love to add the armrest too. When you get them put on, if you can post pics, and a part number I would appreciate it. Thank you.

First order of armrests for L3901 failed, the Snapper part number that was being thrown around in prior posts on here did not fit! I'm working with Messicks and just sent them measurements of the dimples in the seat frame that are used to mount the armrest frame to along with seat part number on my 2018 L3901, I hope to have a part number soon and will keep you updated.

I just looked at this seat warehouse and they have great (almost too good to be true) prices. Are their seats comfortable?
