I recently purchased a F3080 last month. Local dealer trade needing tlc. Came with soft cab, mower and blower. I just sold my f2560e to a friend that I had for 6 years. With 2500 hours, I'm hoping to make it last a very long time for home owner use. Anyone else running an f series? They seem to be a well kept secret.

My F 2690 was delivered with 72" rear discharge deck during a snowstorm in December.

I am looking forward to using it this summer and retiring my Deere 955 with 72" mid mount deck from mowing duty so that its FEL can stay on all of the time.

I've been looking for one of those for years!
Just ran across one on craigslist semi local, but it was a little too steep for my blood and wallet.
They are hard to find!

I take care of 4 at work. Nice machine and can take a beating. Not real fun to work on.

What were you fixing in this picture? Any common issues you see with these?
Any thoughts on super udt2 and kubota filter on quieting the transmission down?
Ever change an o ring on an aluminum plug in the side of the hydrostatic pump? I did one yesterday, miserable job but got it done.

They are tough to find! I jumped right on this one, knowing what it was.

A cracked hydro line that the floor pan had to come off to get to.
Nothing too common, other than operator abuse. Our 2 3680’s are 3000ish hrs with county workers and the past 4 years work detail riding them.
The 35+ pieces I take care of usually get a stens filter if applicable and AW68 when needed.
I haven’t done one of those yet.

I have an F2560 with RC72 cutter up front and I absolutely love it. Was used and needed A battery when I picked it up. It is one of the best pieces of equipment I have. Only had to do minor maintenance on it so far.

I bought an F3060 with a 72" rear discharge deck a little less than a year ago. Has around 2000 hours. I had the deck driveshaft rebuilt, overhauled a couple of the deck spindles and replaced all fluids.

The only real out of the ordinary problem I had was the steering tube support structure broke inside the plastic trim surround. It was probably weldable, but since the part was available, and wasn't ridiculously expensive, I just bought the new part.

So far this spring it is performing flawlessly.

Learned something new. They had manual steering. My 3680’s and 2690’s at work have an orbital valve under the dash for steering.

There is a hydraulic cylinder that actuates the steering (located on the right rear of the machine, I presume powered by the pump that operates the deck lift? The steering is not nearly as easy as L48 steering.
