A way to search for all posts by one member in a thread?

Is there a way to search for all posts by one member in a forum section without any keyword(s)?

Type in their name at the bottom of the search and leave the key words blank.

I can just click on a post you’re in, click first on your ‘name’ and then on the messages #. Wow, you’ve been busy

Yeah, that's the problem. To manually search through 6017 messages would take a year.
That is why I had hoped there was a way to search just one section of the forum, like "Daily Chuckle" in "off Topic".

Ok, both of those work, but that is still not what I'm asking- I can search globally, (the whole forum) or forum specific (like Off Topic) but not by thread, like "Ear Candy" or Daily Chuckle".
Maybe I'm missing something.

Aww, what your really asking is can you see how many times a person has posted in a particular thread,
I don't know of a way to do that, and I can do a lot of different things that most can't!

OK, thanks, that is what I suspected, but I had hoped there was a way to find a particular post or pic, when you didn't know the correct search string for that particular post or pic. By confining the search to a particular thread or section, I was hoping to narrow the search,
There are a lot of really prolific posters on this forum.

You may be able to get what you’re after with a browser (google, ...)search.

You can just search the OTT site using special format in search

You may be able to get to just one section of the forum? I am just aware of the search methods but can’t recall exactly how to type it into the search engine
