Hi guys, Please excuse my ignorance here, I'm about to place an order for a 3 point linkage for my B5100. There seems to be 2 sizes available for this tractor, a 500mm and a 600mm. Can anyone tell me which is best to go for ? What does the size dictate. I have two arms on the back of my tractor are these part of an old linkage or the arms in which the linkage attaches? If yes I take it I can just buy the other parts that are missing so?

here's a drawing from Kubota of all the 3PH parts..... the lower arms are #12,upper arms are #18 + #14-15-16. the 500mm lower arms put the implement 100 (4") closer to the tractor, so you can lift more weight ,though that may not matter for you .The upper arms go on those 'rusty' Rockshaft arms. Lots of pictures on the web to help you assemble the bits and pieces as generally all 3point hitches mount the same way. Hopefully others who have your model tractor can post a picture of their setup.

Your wheel diameter is a major factor when choosing the arm length. The shorter arms will give more lift but over a smaller range, think of the ark of a circle.
