The one problem that I can see is that the tractor might be financed, and Kubota will not tell you if there is a financing contract on the unit. If there is a dealer label on the tractor, then you can check with the selling dealer. The last thing that you want to do is to pay a stranger for a tractor that he owes money on. I walked away from a similar sale last winter when I couldn't get proof of ownership from the seller. He told me that he bought the tractor new and paid for it in full. Since it was a RTV I asked for the title as proof of ownership. Since he didn't have a title to the machine, he told me that he sold it to someone else.
