I have a 2009 M9540.
Was feeding the cows this morning and all was right with the world.
Drove over a frozen lump of cow crap and my dash gauged died. Speedo, tach, fuel gauge and temp gauge. Signal and hazard lights still work.
Battery light and glow plug light do not come on either when restarting.
Thinking a dash ground perhaps?

Would anyone know where I should look first? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You can check your dash ground of course. You could also check your instrument fuse. Ends may be corroded or fuse may have just quit. It may look good to the eye but sometimes they lose continuity. I'd check the fuse with a meter.

My gauges are alive! Turns out just giving the fuses a visual inspection isn't good enough. The tester found 2 fuses, both 5s that were pooches.
Thank you to everyone for your ideas and suggestions

I have a M9540 and the tachometer isn't working, I checked all fuses with test light and all was good , I checked the wiring and connector behind cluster panel all looked good, I also checked 1 ground wire behind there as well, could it be a sensor or a bad wire?

I Replaced rotation speed sensor and also there was a break in the red/green wire and I repaired that wire, but still tach not working, the needle will jump just a little on tach cluster, when I turn on key switch, I am still tracing wires but look good so far?
