Looks like I'm going with the Titan hardened 1055 carbon cutting edge for my 60" bucket on the B2650.

Is 1/2" good enough or am I better off going 5/8"?

I noticed the bucket itself is pretty thin and weak, seems like 5/8" is a bit overkill but if will actually help and not hinder I'll go that way.

Maybe overkill, but if you USE the bucket a LOT, especially in 'hard' stuff', it'll pay for the diference in cost.

It will be used a lot and don't want to get "over confident" due to weakness in other areas, I'm used to heavier equipment.

It's not the cost just if it's overkill and adding that extra height impedes functionality at all.

Usually when someone asks about a bucket cutting edge the Parana bar is mentioned. So I will do it this time.

That is pretty much my 5 cents of opinion.....

I got the Parana bar as to not wear down the bucket edge. Has worked well at all I have needed it to do so far..

Are you bolt it on or welding? If you are bolting it on the original cutting edge, you will have a lot of strength with the 2 combined. Even if you replace the original with a 1/2” weld on, it will be stronger than the original was. 5/8 will give you more to wear down and last longer for not a lot more money.

Yes will go for the 5/8th, that bucket needs all the help it can get.
Why would bolt on be stronger then welding on?

What I meant was, if you are bolting up to the original cutting edge, then the combined thickness of the 2 would be greater than just 1 weld on.
