Has anyone come across a deal on a good canopy?

With summer looming I need to bite the bullet and get one.

If anyone is really please with one they purchased please let me know.

I can't speak to a deal. I got mine as a Christmas present. It's a Femco Tuff Top. Nice because it is light, strong, and easily removable. Orange isn't a perfect match though. Maybe its the old Kubota orange?

I installed a Rhinohyde canopy on my BX. It's black but looks good since there is other black on the tractor. I've been very pleased with it. I think it was 339 with shipping.

Rhinohide is what I bought. Went on really easy, and removes quickly for when trailering so it won’t blow off in traffic. Durable and in Kubota Orange! Made in Waco, Tx, USA

What I have on my M9 open station. Easy on and off, adjustable angle and also made in the USA. It's orange. not sure if it's an exact match as both of my tractors are faded anyway.

Geo. you may have purchased it in Waco, but they are made here: 16930 S Shawnee Heights Rd, Overbrook, KS 66524

Either way, it is a good product!

The Femco is made in McPherson, KS.

Bought mine direct from Femco. They have a nice website and shopping cart. I think start to finish (arrived at the farm) was 4 days.

Kansas, the home of the tractor canopies....:D

I will say I'm not prejudiced of any canopy. So long as it keeps the sun off my almost hairless head and most of the rain (if I get stuck out in it). I'm happy.

Another excellent canopy product is made by SunGuard
My neighbor bought from them and it’s every bit as good as any I’ve seen.’

Tad more than my Tuff Top and harder to install too, The Tuff Top is totally plug and play, no drilling at all.

The 'Tuff Top' Femco folds down for trailering and locks down and removes quickly too. Pulled it off (2 minutes) when the dealer picked up the tractor for service. Very pleased with it. Of course I prefer a full cab.

I think they say not to go over 25 MPH with it folded down though? But, it goes on and off easily with one person.

If you only did it once in a while, it wouldn't be bad. If you needed to do it regularly it would be a PITA. For me, I have enough to worry about and secure as it is, the last thing I want to worry about is the roof flying off, or flying out of the back of the truck.

I also have the Tuff Top on my BX. Very easy to remove.I have to fold my ROPS to get in the garage so this was a logical choice for me. Takes me about 1 minute to install or remove. During the winter months here in N.C. I don't use at all. As soon a summer hits I use constantly. I have the smaller version on my zero turn that I never remove.

What I really like is the adjustable top angle and the frame is stout enough to mount auxillary lights on. I'm going to get a LED light bar the width of the Tuff Top frame rails and mount it to the frame with a plug si I can remove the top and unplug the light at the same time.

Will be a summer project.

Save yourself some trouble and buy a steel one from Wells Ag. I had a Femco and I thought it was rather flimsy and ended up replacing it with the steel one. I should have just used the "buy once, cry once" philosophy and went steel in the first place.
