Saw this on the local FB Marketplace. They want $4000 for it and say it's rebuildable.

If it's dangerous to drill a hold in a ROPS and continue use of machine, would this be OK to fix and use?

Yes, take the four tires off and scrap the rest. The tires will give you a good start for rebuilding.

I think it's a JLG Manlift.
I am sorry but you can not use the term "manlift" that is very sexist! It should be: personlift. Unless your are of the LTBGQIA and then I do not know what the he11 you would call it.

BigG, all these acronyms confuse me. We take the first letter of a word and make it a new code word.

I'm over on a cattle forum, and those guys are the most conservative folks around, except for what they may say. They had a thread about some various protest and parades. This is what one guy posted:

I just realized that I'm part of the LGBT community, Liberty, Guns, Barbecue and Trump!

I'm going for more coffee!!

I avoid cattle forums like a bad cold.... Most of them smell like manure.

Just rented a JLG Straight boom 65' man lift the other weekend to top some trees near my house. It was the 2nd time I had rented it. Really like this machine. Can do some real damage on the property with it, and create a BIG mess on the ground that I get to clean up wonce the Man lift goes back to the rental company. Cost about $425 to rent it for the weekend with 8 hours of use time. Every hour beyond 8 adds more cost. I never go over 8 hours cuase you can create a huge mess well before 8 hours.

They are like most forums. You can get a lot of good, practical information from most members is some area of farming, but there are always some who ARE full of BS. As usual, they're easy to spot!
