So, I know this has been covered before. I even found a video where someone had the same issue and purchased a longer top link from (Amazon I think). I am having issues finding a CAT I top link anywhere longer than the stock 32" that came on my L4701 to make hooking up with my Pat's Easy Hitch work. My old tractor was a small NH Boomer 24 and the top link had plenty of travel to compensate, but this one isn't quite cutting it. I'm thinking I need something that extends to at least 36" (preferably a little more so I'm not all the way out). If anyone knows where I can obtain one?

I was in Rural King a few weeks ago and they had a top link extension on the shelf above the quick hitches. I just now tried to look it up on their web page but did not find it. Try calling them. I did see a 35 inch top link around $30

Just found it Country Way Quick Hitch Adapter - 70161

Don't see a longer Cat 1, but a Cat 2 may give desired length. If the pin diameter is larger on Cat 2 vs Cat 1, perhaps a bushing can be used to take up the difference.

Dimension copied from a Cat 2 description: 20" body length, 25" closed length, 37" open length.

Link is provide as an example only: https://www.amazon.com/RanchEx-102010-Leveling-Tractor-Implements/dp/B01N7FY9LK/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=3+point+top+link+cat+2&qid=1580142221&sr=8-10

This is an idea. Seems to be plenty of length in CAT 2 top links. Either that or scrap the Pat's and get a real quick hitch!

I have Pat's Quick Hitch and immediately found I needed a linger PTO shaft for my mower as well as a top link. I did some measurements and got a good price for the top link on eBay. Then I learned it was unnecessary. You can use a piece of chain in conjunction with your top link - they only lift, they don't push down. If it's too long the bouncing on a mowing deck can even bend your top link. I could have done that in the first place instead of tracking down another top link.
