The young man is very fortunate! Looks like he had the log in the bucket, raised the loader high enough for it to roll out.

Makes the cost of a grapple seem like nothing!

I'll bet dollars to doughnuts what saved his bacon was the ROPS... that log rolled all the way back and smacked the ROPS rolled back then stopped on top of the steering column.

And yes one lucky duck!

Looks like the can stopped the log rolling any further. Must be strong beer.

looks like the fire department showed up to rescue him. He’s stuck there, can’t get out. I would be surprised if he didn’t get some kinda injury.

also looks like some damage to the steering column.

Only way i see is to get a crane and lift it off. That log probably weighs on the order of 800 lbs.
