Your over thinking this. I think you want the BX2680 and trying to justify it in your mind. Look at this way $1000.00 over 60 months with zero % interest isn't very much .And Your not thinking should I have spent a little more and have peace of mind.

......................... More power makes me more happy, and so it's cheap at the price.
Wish I could say that statement doesn't apply to me, but I can't.

It's possible that if I'd have bought an L3900 instead of the L3200 back in 2012 it may have been the last tractor. The dealer wanted something less than $1,500 more for an L3900 at the time.

We mow 5 acres and used a 22 hp and 23 hp diesel mower for 15 years with zero complaints or problems. However when the boss said it was time for a new machine we bought a BX2680. Need it? Probably not. Enjoy it? Absolutely! Go home with whichever one you want and never look back!

Man, you guys and others said it well. Sometimes, it's not just HP either, but weight, lift capacities, etc.

If I wasn't so dead-set on a BX2360 years ago, it's possible there would be a B-series in the garage now, and I wouldn't be pining for a just little bit more weight and "ass".....

Love my tractor, but I didn't evaluate my options and needs well enough back then. Thinking a few years ahead is great advice.

1000$ over 60 month is about 50 cents per day:rolleyes:

you'ld have to do the math for whatever optional' equipment you're buying as I don't know if 'this or that' fits both tractors.
I know I love the SSQA on my BX23S though :D:D:D

I never had the SSQA bucket till last December when we bought the L4240 and didn't think much of it. Right after buying the tractor I wanted a front-mounted snow plow. The SSQA works great for that. Now I'm thinking of other attachment projects. The attachments I did have were made specifically to work on the bucket of the tractor I just sold, so they went with it.

@ the dealer when you are at the cash register ready to check out the BX2680 should only be about $800.00 more +/-. I have the 26 hp B with 60 inch deck and very happy with the power :D

+ Wife approved the 26hp P.O. she didn't want to have the conversation down the road we need need 3 hp more !!!

to me SSQA is a nobrainer unless you LOVE the 'fun' of removing a 4 pin bucket and installing a 4 pin blade on half frozen, uneven ground in -10F with pelting snow/ice getting 'everywhere'.....;)
It's less than a minute to get any implement on or off with NO strain on my back...
so far I've got bucket, forks and a snowblower though yet to use the snowblower I built.....hmmmmmm

RCW you hit the nail on the head!! That might still happen, but I have my doubts
