Hi all! Ive started having issues recently with my B2601 throttle slipping off setting, especially at higher RPM.

Ive seen the posts for correcting the problem on BX models - a simple, easy to reach fix after the inside grill is removed...

Theres no removing the console cover on the B2601 and the linkage is buried deep down inside the engine compartment.

Itll be a 10 second wrench job, Im sure, but do I have to jack the tractor up or otherwise perform contortionist gymnastics to get at it?:(

It's not the same as the BX's, it's way easier

The problem is getting to that nut/spring thingy to do the retightening. How does one access the throttle- i dont see any way other than jacking the tractor up and crawling under it.

I guess it depends on how large you are.

Your tractor appears to be about the size of my B2910, and I have no problem sliding under mine to work on it, for oil changes and such. 220 lbs at 5'11" though...:)

It's not under the tractor, it's just under the dash cover above the floor boards.

If anything you might have to remove the panel cover to adjust it, three bolts.
