Hi, many people glad to help, but more information needed. Eg L4760 for model? It is a new common rail tractor and glow plug symbol won't be seen on Intellipanel unless temp is colder than around 18F. Will it crank? Error messages?

The 60 series machines will not light the dash indicator until a specific ambient temperature. I believe at 20 degrees f or so.

It may light briefly during the light check, but I don't remember.

* On edit... Sorry SheepFarmer, didn't see your correct response!

From the owners manual.

COLD WEATHER STARTING
If the ambient temperature is below -5C (23F) and the
engine is very cold, follow the procedure below after
taking the step 1 through 8 in the previous pages.

9. Turn the key to "ON" (glow plug) and keep it there until glow plug indicator goes off.

10. Turn the key to the start position and the engine should start.

There was another post about someone inquiring about the lack of GP illumination a while back FWIW.
