Hi-

I think I'm going to tackle adding an auxiliary fuse block to my BX and was wondering if this would work for a block:

https://www.amazon.com/6-Way-Blade-...s=automotive+fuse+block&qid=1579884703&sr=8-7

I know the factory block uses mini-blade fuses and the one above seems to use standard fuses; is that a problem. Would a 30-amp relay be sufficient for this?

Obviously I'm a noobie here, so any additional info. that may be helpful would be appreciated.

Thanks for any help!

If it fits it will work fine. A fuse is a fuse for the most part.

Bigger question? What do you plan to run with it?
Can the BX electrical output handle it, what model?

Planning on running a battery meter, a couple of LED lights...that's about all I can think of (for now). Not a ton really.

You should have no problem then.

I recently added a couple LED's to my Canopy and was surprised to find out the 120W LED's (as advertised) only drew about 20W in reality.

I have found it is a good idea to actually test them.
Nice!

Do you know what gauge of wire I should use? 10-gauge? I have 14 coming off of the fuse block. Sorry, I'm still learning about this but also want to get going on the install :)
