My experience, 1/2" stuff breaks where it's clamped. 1-2" the FEL can pull it. 2-3" clamp on pull while driving forward. Won't pull try from another direction. Hardest stuff to pull, the roots went down like a carrot. Hardest stuff that won't pull - who knows.
